These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Romie-Learning, LLC, located in Florida, United States. By purchasing or participating in any tutoring session, course, or program offered through the Romie-Learning website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not purchase or use the services.
​
1. Eligibility
All purchases must be made by a parent or legal guardian unless the learner is at least 18 years of age.
​
Romie-Learning provides educational services for learners up to 18 years old.
​
When registering for services, the purchaser agrees that the information provided about the learner is accurate.
​
2. Accounts and Student Identification
Parents may create one account for their household. However:
​
• Each student must have their own purchased plan or course enrollment.
• Sessions purchased for one student may not be used by another student unless explicitly permitted.
​
Students must turn on their camera at the beginning of each live session to verify identity. After verification, the camera may be turned off unless participation requires it.
Failure to verify identity may result in removal from the session without refund.
​
3. Online Session Platform
Live tutoring sessions and group classes are conducted through Zoom.
​
Participants agree that they will not:
​
• record lessons
• capture screenshots or screen recordings
• share meeting links with unauthorized individuals
• allow guests or additional students to join sessions without permission
Violation of these rules may result in immediate removal from the session or termination of services without refund.

4. Tutoring Package Duration & Validity
Tutoring packages operate under the following rules:
​
30-Day Window
All tutoring sessions included in a package must be completed within 30 days of the selected start date.
​
Expiration
Sessions that are not booked or attended within the 30-day period will expire and cannot be carried over, credited, or refunded.
​
Non-Transferability
Tutoring sessions are intended only for the named student listed during registration and may not be transferred to siblings, friends, or other individuals.
​

5. Tutoring Refund Policy
Full Refund Eligibility
​
A full refund may be requested within 7 days of purchase or at least 24 hours before the first scheduled tutoring session, provided that no tutoring sessions have been attended.
​
Refund requests must be submitted before the first session begins and at least 24 hours prior to the first scheduled session.
​
After First Session
Once the first scheduled tutoring session has occurred — or has been missed as a no-show — the tutoring package becomes non-refundable.
​
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
​​
​
6. Session Cancellations and Rescheduling
To reschedule a tutoring session without losing the session credit:
​
• cancellation must occur at least 24 hours before the scheduled session
​
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the session being deducted from the tutoring package.
​
Official cancellations or rescheduling requests must be completed through the Romie-Learning member portal.
​
Messages sent through text, email, or social media are not considered valid cancellation requests.
​
7. Late Arrivals and No-Shows
Late Arrival
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. If a student arrives late, the session will not be extended.
​
Maximum Late Window
If a student is more than 15 minutes late, the tutor may end the session and the session will be considered completed.
​
No-Shows
Failure to attend a scheduled session without providing at least 24 hours’ notice will result in the automatic deduction of that session from the tutoring package.
​
8. Tutor Cancellation
If the tutor must cancel a session due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances:
​
• the session will be credited back to the tutoring package
• the family may reschedule the session at a later time
​
If necessary, the 30-day package window may be extended.
​
9. Technical Requirements
Participants are responsible for ensuring:
​
• a stable internet connection
• a functioning device with audio and camera
• proper access to the session platform
​
Technical issues on the student’s side — including internet problems, device malfunction, or failure to join the meeting correctly — do not qualify for session credits or refunds.
​
10. Group Classes
Group classes typically follow a fixed schedule (for example: twice weekly sessions over multiple weeks).
Missed Classes
If a student misses a group class:
​
• the class will not be rescheduled
• students may review the lesson recording instead
​
11. Group Class Refund Policy
Refunds for group classes are available until the first class meeting.
​
If a class was purchased at a discounted rate and a partial refund is requested after attending some sessions:
​
• the attended sessions will be charged at the full standard rate
• the remaining balance will be refunded.
​
For weekly payment classes, families may unsubscribe at any time to stop future payments.
No refunds are issued for classes that have already occurred.
​
12. Lesson Recordings and Educational Materials
Romie-Learning may provide lesson recordings and educational materials for enrolled students.
​
Recordings may be provided for both group classes and individual tutoring sessions and may be shared through secure file sharing or private video hosting platforms.
​
Recording access is subject to the following conditions:
• recordings are view-only
• recordings may not be downloaded, copied, or redistributed
• recordings may not be shared with individuals who are not enrolled in the course or tutoring session
• access to recordings is available for up to 30 days after the course ends
​
After this period, recording access will be removed.
​
All lesson recordings, worksheets, slides, practice materials, and other instructional content provided by Romie-Learning, LLC are proprietary educational materials intended solely for the personal educational use of the enrolled student.
​
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
• sharing lesson recordings outside of the enrolled household
• distributing worksheets or digital materials to other families
• posting lesson recordings or materials on websites, social media, or file-sharing platforms
• using Romie-Learning materials to teach other students or operate a tutoring service
​
Romie-Learning, LLC reserves the right to revoke access to recordings, course materials, and services without refund if these materials are shared or used in violation of these Terms.

13. Self-Paced Courses
Self-paced programs provide access to digital lessons and materials.
​
Access begins immediately upon purchase.
​
Students will retain access for 365 days from the purchase date.
​
Because digital materials become available immediately, self-paced purchases are non-refundable once access has been granted.
​
If downloadable materials such as PDFs are included, they are subject to the same intellectual property protections described below.
​
14. Intellectual Property
All educational materials provided by Romie-Learning, LLC are protected intellectual property.
​
This includes but is not limited to:
• lesson presentations
• worksheets
• practice materials
• lesson recordings
• self-paced course content
• teaching methods and curriculum
​
These materials may not be reproduced, shared, distributed, posted online, or used to teach others without written permission.
​
Violation of this policy may result in termination of access to services without refund.
​
15. Right to Modify Services
Romie-Learning, LLC reserves the right to modify or update:
​
• course schedules
• tutoring availability
• program structure
• lesson materials
• pricing
​
from time to time in order to improve services or respond to operational needs.
When reasonable, notice of significant changes will be provided to enrolled families. Changes will not affect sessions that have already been scheduled unless necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

16. Student Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully during sessions.
​
Romie-Learning reserves the right to end a session early or remove a student for behavior including but not limited to:
​
• disruptive conduct
• inappropriate language
• refusal to follow instructions
• refusal to comply with participation requirements
​
If a session is ended due to student misconduct, the session will still count as used and no refund will be issued.
​
17. Academic Disclaimer
Tutoring and educational services are intended to support learning and skill development.
However, Romie-Learning does not guarantee specific grades, test scores, or academic outcomes.
Student progress depends on several factors including:
​
• student effort
• participation during sessions
• practice outside of tutoring sessions
• consistency of attendance.
​
18. Payment Processing
Payments for services are processed through the website’s payment processing system.
If a payment fails, is declined, or cannot be processed:
​
• access to services may be suspended
• future bookings may be blocked until payment is resolved.
​
19. Communication
Official communication regarding services may occur through the website or by email at:
​
​
However, session cancellations and rescheduling must be completed through the member portal.
​
20. Email Communications
Romie-Learning may offer email communications such as program updates, course announcements, or newsletters.
​
Participation in these communications is optional, and recipients may unsubscribe at any time.
​
21. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
​
Any disputes arising from the use of Romie-Learning services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida, United States.

22. Changes to These Terms
Romie-Learning, LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
​
The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions and will be posted on the Romie-Learning website.
​
Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates. Continued use of Romie-Learning services after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
